Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
